Another crappy dark iphone pic, but I got the passenger area roof panel cut and test fitted. What a b@t%h!!! Still need to trim the passenger side down about 1/8 inch and trim the rear so that it ends in the middle of the rear support bow. Then I'll start working on the rear roof panel.

Set a new personal best. Went from engine sitting on a table and new clutch in a box at 5:15 to driving it around the block by 6:45. And that even included having figure out how to loosen a severily over tightened clutch cable. Thanks for the help, Pete.

Took apart the driver's door on the Squareback today- the door wouldn't lock or unlock, so I figured I pull the door latch out- didn't realize that the window and window regulator and window channel had to come out just to get the latch out- what a pain! At least I got to lubricate everything so the window goes up and down smoothly, and the door latch is working like it should be

Put the cross shaft in the trans and put the motor back in. Started the bus up and drove it around the parting lot at work. Still didnt fix my clutch slipping problem. So the motor comes back out tomarrow for a new clutch.

Re: What did you do to your volkswagen today?
Ground off the stops on the bolt hole to get ready to install a 1600 dual port in the 66. Installed the 12 flasher box I built from relays and a flasher. Installed a 6 to 12 volt solid state converter on the winshield wipers, It seems to work ok. Installed 12 volt solenoid on my 6 volt starter. I found out someone had replaced the 6 volt horn with a 12 volt horn, Thats why it didn't work when it was 6 volts. I changed my homemade 6 volt radio to a 12 volt radio, all I need is some speakers. Here is some Pictures of my flasher relay

Got the baby Dells all dialed in.
The SP2 spent some time outside last night while another project was in the garage. Thought this was a cool pic.

Re: What did you do to your volkswagen today?
I believe it is a Carter regulator.
That shag is my lawn!
It will be coming down soon. The front was bottomed on the shocks so I had to replace those first.
