dual carb question Empty dual carb question

my 76 van has a 2000cc type 4 in it and i have a set of empi34 dual carbs on it they suck dont buy empi craps i meant carbs i have a brand new set of Weber 40 dual carbs for a type4 do yall think it will be to much or OK i hope some one can give me some useful advice its going in tomorrow thanks ino i see people runing dual 40 on bugs with 1776 so help

I think 40s would be fine on a 2l plus engine. Just make sure they're tuned right.

I'm running dual Dellorto 40's on my 2.0L. They are not too much by any means.

well i think i no what road im taking then an the dual 34 empis will get one more try to live on the square back if i do that it more than likely wont be for sale any more

What's your distributor, 009....hopefully vac advance.
40's work well on 1776.
