Mellow Cruise 2/27/10

alright guys, I think we all decided we need to get together again soon so here it is

Saturday, February 27th

and we are going to Mellow Mushroom for lunch... (dinner is always packed!) in Kennesaw, there is one in woodstock but seeing as our last cruise was to woodstock i thought we'd change it up a little,

figured we would meet at target as before in the "compact" spaces around 10:30 and leave at 11:15 and hope to be there around 12ish

let me know if you can make it...

also if you need stickers let me know how many, the normal size is $5

Where is the one in Kennesaw? I know of the one on Shalloford and Trickum, and one south on Powers Ferry. Not familiar with the Kenn and Wdstk ones??

OK was being lazy, just looked it up. Will make that one, its close by, I actually live off of Chastain!!

Another thought for the area is Big pie in the sky, also in Kennesaw. They have been on the food network as well and maybe we could get 2 guys to take on their challenge while there!!! 2 guys eat one pizza get $250!!!!

I just wanted to add this is not a Der schwarm only cruise... anyone and everyone is welcome!!! we are shooting for being there around noon. If anyone is interested let me know so i can add u to the list, and make sure we have space at MM.

I'll plan on being at Target at 1030. What route did you want to follow down? The ride home on Bells Ferry was much better than the ride down Hwy 5 last weekend.

as bad as it sounds i havent got the route figured out, bells ferry sounds like a good route though... we could do that if you wanted to lead... im not so familiar with that way...

If we use Bells Ferry, meeting at KMart would be better. Bells Ferry heads south from Hwy 5 only two traffic lights away from KMart.

very true... but, and a big butt ( ) i've told most everyone to meet at target already, switching it would take some time since i have to call everyone (only a couple people check our site)...and it may cause confusion, so how bout we meet at target and take 575 to kmart then roll 5 to bells ferry. i'll take the blame for it,cuz i dont really have time to call everyone, and i dont want anyone left out. is that ok with you Pete? sorry for the hassel...

Hi, my name is Benjamin Curlee and I have a '70 Karmann Ghia and would love to join you if that's ok? I've driven my father's '74 super beetle for about 3 years now but never look into any clubs until I bought my own VW.

I live in Marietta just between Hwy 5 and Bells Ferry off of Hawkins Store Rd and you guys are the closest I've seen so far.

of course, we would love to have you ride out with us, would u like to meet with us for the cruise or do you want to just meet us at mellow mushroom? either way is fine, I just dont want to leave for MM without all of the cruisers

thats the one, the target is close to the lowes, and we will be in the parking spots straight in front of the target that are labled "compact"

I drive a blue Panel vanagon, and a 68 Green Double cab. At least will be driving the DC until next weekend when its leaving and then will be driving a 72 High Roof Westy. Will keep my eyes peeled for a ghia running around!

Sadly, some stuff has come up and I don't think I'll be able to make it... But I still look forward to meeting you all soon!
