Post by EngineerTEN Tue Aug 19, 2008 4:57 pm

I was trying to figure out a good way to manage this. I'm going to give it a try here.

I have some special tools that I only need on a rare occasion that I can would love to make available for loan to help other air cooled hobbyist out.

1. MIG Welder - 90 amp 110vac gasless flux-wire
2. Auto-darkening helmet
3. Welders Gloves
4. Angle grinder.
5. Distributor drive gear puller
6. Flywheel lock
7. Clutch alignment tool
8. Transmission Plug Socket
9. Tap and Die set which includes 8mm 1.50 thread tap for oversize head exhaust flange studs.
10. Compression tester
11. 5 Gallon sandblaster gravity hopper with gun – you supply the compressor.
12. Ball joint and tie-rod puller.
13. Timing Gun
14. Vacuum Float Carburetor Sync tool
15. Large Allen wrench – fits grub bolts in front beam.
16. Piston ring compressor.

I am happy to lend the tools out free of cost on the following conditions:
1. If I have yet to establish a relationship of trust with you, I'm going to ask for collateral.
2. If I am going to be using it soon, I won’t lend it out unless you can get it back to me by the date I need it.
3. If it uses a consumable supply, please purchase that item yourself. For example, wire for the welder or ceramic tip for the sandblaster.
4. If you break it, please have the integrity to replace it.

If this works successfully for you, please return the favor to your fellow hobbyist.
