🍑 Peach State or Pollen State

So I am new to the area and am beginning to think the state was misnamed...when do the yellow dust clouds stop blowing? I can wash the cars and an hour later everything has a light dust coat again. Just thankful no one in my family 👪 has allergies. 😇

Oh it's not bad yet....wait another week or two. It will be so bad you can taste it. You pray for rain just to wash some of it away.

It is on of the many things I don't like about this state. I first moved here I looked out the window and thought it was over spray.

I moved from Pa. It is a lot better than pa, but I don't have allergies

Pollen is the penalty we all pay for the mostly great weather here. I leave my nice cars in the garage for a few weeks. Then it all goes away.

guess a cover might help...My deck and such are awful. Have to powerwash everything

Ironically, my power washer won't crank either, I am seriously considering a cover. Between the pollen, pine needles, and tree sap- I have not been able to keep any of my cars clean since I moved here.

Didn't have my bugs while I was in Connecticut, but they handled fine in what little snow and ice I saw while in Tennessee. And even looking back, the snowplows up north did a pretty good job keeping the roads drivable. All you really had to shovel was the drive way and that really was not bad where I was so you could drive your vw all year long even up north.

I think the pollen is gone for the year. I will trade snow for the green covering any day that's what the jeep for.

Did I ever mention how much I dislike the abundance of pollen in the spring....
