Here's my reason for being MIA. Got my Baja fixed and roadworthy, was hotrodding it, missed 3rd went into 1instead. Needless to say the transaxle begin clanking, and leaking. Will fix/rebuild/ replace later. My 78 Ford has been running fine, jus working out minor bugs. That's not my excuse.

Here's where my time and money has been. Rare, possible 1957 Magnolia built in MS. Last registered '90 in MI. Very little info out there on it.

Another craigslist project. I didn't quite bite off more than I could chew, but its alot more in depth than previously expected. I didn't know anything about fiberglass until now.

I've had a few small ones for years now.all 1940s-50s-60s two 7.5hps. A 12hp, a few 5hps and others. My passion for the antique mechanical things runs through all categories.
Here is the powerplant chosen for that 16ft though.

You ATL/northern boys have it all. I went to Griffin for the boat, motor came from villa rica, trailer came from Augusta.
Everything else has been eBay. I've got a vintage matching '50s speedo/tach set and a '50s 12v dash clock. It should all be period correct except for the newer engine. I'm going to go with a classic '50s color. That black looks awesome, but it'll be hot and so will the water I'll be in when my new wife sees the $ in this. So on that token I was thinking

There are a zillion classic boats that are red, alot this era ae now teal/turquoise. Not alot out there based off of one of Elvis' Caddy. And this should take her mind off the $ Smile
