Dead of Winter Campout - Cloudland Canyon Empty Dead of Winter Campout - Cloudland Canyon

Peach State Transporters will be holding its annual Dead of Winter Campout at Cloudland Canyon State Park in the northwest Georgia mountains on the weekend of February 5, 6, and 7.

Scenic hikes include a canyon rim trail, and a trail into the gorge featuring views of two waterfalls. Camp sites include water and electricity, so don't forget to bring a space heater. And, of course, firewood. Lots and lots of firewood.

Featuring a potluck supper on Saturday night.

Yep, this is a good camp out. We went last year and had a great time. Beautiful area, great hiking. Nice facilities. Nice drive too as you get close.

Plan to make it as well.

Deb and I plan on making this trip as long as it doesnt rain. Should be a great time.
