Toy Cruise 2014 - Dec 13,2014

The VW Toy Cruise will be on Dec 13, 2014. We will be ending at the Festival of Trees in Euharlee Ga. we have decorated a tree that will be auctioned during the auction this year. Toy Donations will be going to "Just Believe Christmas For Kids". It is the reason for the Festival of Trees.

We will be meeting in Dallas, Ga at the QT at 4:00 pm and rolling out at 4:15 headed to Euharlee. We will arrive there and have special Parking for the VWs. There will be a bonfire, roasting marshmallows, Cider and hot chocolate. Santa gets there at 6:00 pm and the tree auction is after that.

Lots of decorated trees and fun for the kids with Santa and marshmallows to roast. Cider and hot chocolate to drink. There will also be a live nativity at the church across the street from the festival of trees.

If you are coming in look for the VW Toy Cruise signs for our parking area. We will be on the opposite side of the decorated building. Smooth grassy area.

Thanks to everyone who came and hung out for a little while, stayed a long time, brought toys or whatever part you played. It was truly fantastic and heartwarming to see everyone come together. While talking to the organizers of the Festival of Trees last night they were very appreciative of your efforts to help the kids of the Euharlee area. They also asked that we pass along thanks to all who came. It was a little difficult for some of the folks to hear that it wasn't "a VW club" but members of several clubs, friends, family and just good folks. Again, thanks to everyone and may you all have a most Merry Christmas!!

Update on the Toy Cruise for 2014:

The Euharlee Festival of Trees raised enough funds with your help to serve 22 children for Christmas this season. There were also enough toys donated to team with other organizations to help several more families. Please know that more than 25 kids will have presents to open Christmas morning due to you and your generosity.
