I know we have the Poker Run on the 10th, but not everyone participates in the run so lets have our usual 3rd Sunday meeting too.
May 18 at Loco's on Timothy Rd., Athens at 3:00 pm.
Lets make it a 'bring your bus' meeting. If you have a bus drive it if possible.

Ah man! I just got our bus, but we have some things we need to do... Oil leak and some engine maintenance of the normal type to be done. Oil is probably coming from the dipstick boot most likely as after 3hrs driving/checking oil every hour/ didnt need any/ so it isnt a gusher. But we'll catch up to you guys soon. Might make it up to Rabey's shop on Sat just say HI!

That's a good looking bus. Mine is also a 76 Westy with a few wrinkles in it. Its two weeks till our 'meet and eat' maybe you'll be ready for a ride by then.

Thanks! We are excited about getting her! Hope to have her running like a top soon. Right now, after we got halfway home, the shift linkage would *not* let us put in reverse. We had to push it back at the subway we stopped at... but she seems to have a strong heart. 2.0L single carb. Not sure what the difference between having two versus a single carb.

My previous engine had a single progressive carb and it ran great. My current engine has dual carbs like the ones that came on a 72 bus and it run well with them. I can't say that one set up was better than the other. If it runs well, stay with it.
