Callaway Gardens show info August 31

Got my flyer/registration form in the mail today for the show again this year. Gonna be held on Saturday August 31. Same as prior years, preregister your car ($10) and the entrance fee for the park is free if you arrive before noon.

Is it a general car show? I think if I can get Heidi sorted out before then we will probably make this one.

yeah, it's an all makes/models car show. Usually a pretty big show. The airheads group and others from this site have gone down the last 2-3 years just to hang out. I think we had about 12 or so VWs there last year mixed in with all the american muscle and old cars.

If the weather is good they usually have tethered hot air balloon rides, and plenty of stuff for the kids if you want to bring the family.

Just some info I researched if anyone is needing a room.

I received quotes from two hotels in LaGrange that offered discounted rates: Baymont Inn & Suits @ $62.00 per night and Hoffman Inn @$55.00 per night. Call and ask for the "VW special". Next door to Cracker Barrell and 23 miles from Callaway Gardens.
