The old one was some Chinese branding, I had it rebuilt and still couldn't get it to idle. I'd like to get some dual kadrons and then I'll be cruising!

That's exactly the issue I was having with mine. Just cheap quality. I would spend every weekend driving up and down the same backroad to test drive it, pull off into the parking lot of the old library in town, make adjustments to the carb, and then get back out there and test it again. It got pretty annoying after a while.

I spent way too much time adjusting and wasting gas trying to get it right, it served its purpose for two years.. The one I have now is a pict 34 Euromax that one of my dad's friends gave me for free. It's been used a couple times until he upgraded to dual carbs. I want to find a OEM solex have it rebushed by one of those companies and slap it on my car.

Mine was doing that too, and I went to see a friend of mine and he told me that with that carb I would never get it to idle right and I should get a 32/36. And it has never ran as great as it has with the 32/36 carb on it.
