I have someone wanting to do some trading which would put me having a 67 parts car. I only want the tranny out of it. Is there any interest in body parts? All fenders, hood, and decklid are there and seem decent. The car is pretty rotten at the bottom, so not worth restoring.

Yeah. it is. His dad wont give up the short axles, so all I would be getting would be an unknown condition transaxle.

Have you checked with Jeff in Ellijay? I got my "unknown condition" 67 transaxle from him for a super sweet price drum to drum. It's been doing great in the bus. Worth a shot, and you may get lucky like I did. He's probably got all lengths of axles as well.
