Re: my New Baja
Got my parking lights to work, and headlights, an tested brake lights. Chasing a ghost in the turn signals. .
Brand new clutch kit
Cleaned it up while I had it stripped.
New tins, new alt, new intake(awaiting my 2bb rebuild)
And what I've been waiting for. New Exhaust!!!

Re: my New Baja
Thanks. I picked some pipes I haven't seen on anyone else's car yet. Just wish they came in 1 1/2. That's 1 5/8, so I'll have to fab a baffle or modify one for some back press.
Plan is to change the swing arm boots, service the trans, check out the rear brakes and level the rear by getting a spline of lift on one side.
Next weekend at work should be front bearings/brakes, new master cylinder, bleed and leak test.
Couple odds and ends include finish cleaning an install tank, fix the turn signals(module or steer column switch, idk yet) rebuild the 2bb, and hopefully it'll be ready to road test.
The lift and roof rack will be later on. Its time to drive it.

Re: my New Baja
Well. . day 2 of driving it I missed a shift and blew out the side plate on the transaxle. After sitting in timeout for the last few months, a couple different projects, and a divorce later I decided to jump back on it.
Ordered a sho-nuff built transaxle for a small $1200 fee. I'm picking it up Fri, putting the car back together Sat, and I'll see you boys at silver dollar Sunday AM. We're gonna drive it the 100mi there. This should be fun.
