new here and pics of my bug

im not from ga but im close im in the florida panhandle and thought id throw some pics of my bug up here its geting slammed to the ground soon as i get some funds.

yes slam it, but your gunna have to get different tires those super swampers are not gunna fit in the fenders... lol jk you gunna narrow it any?

well i didnt really tell what it was its a 1970 standerd bug with 1600cc motor 110 cam 4spd dual exhaust 31 ford teardrop taillights tons of older parts from a 67 flat black paint rims were on it when i got it dont think there stock idk. and for the plans on dropping it i wanna narrow the beam 4" with adjusters and air shocks for the rear im doing 2 clicks for now till i can aford bags and tires im going with a 165/45r15's all the way around. lemme know what yall think and thanks for the good words.

also thought about painting the rims black and keeping the caps chrome and slamming it to the pan on whitewalls lol looking for some idea's tho

Like your ideas but............relocate that filter. There is a whole lot of sparking going on just underneath it's ass! Look good.

yup thats next on the list to do relocate it under the gas tank prolly do that today.

Yea the first time I posted a pic of my engine bay on thesamba I got spanked by everyone. That was one of the first projects I had on my bay, put the fuel filter behind firewall (and replaced lines). Not as easy to get to when changing, but I feel better about it.

I would not recommend the 165 45s all the way around Maybe for the front but you will have to be super low for it to look right. It is just not enough tire. For the rear you need to stay around the 25" diameter or you will be using more rpms to go the same speed as you do now

well im geting new tires for the front this week and needa find a way to lower it some in the front cheap any idea's?

Drop spindles are about 140. If you can weld you can put adjusters in your beam for like 20-30 bucks. Also if you can weld you could just cut and turn the beam.

yea i plan on geting drop spindles and adjusters welded in for now i think imma take the bolts out the center of the beam and buy some airshocks were its ajustable, i should get about a 4" drop outta that for around 100buxs for airshocks

got some new pics of the bug today here there are enjoy.

Got any updated pics of it lowered? I have a sweet primered 70 also. Got the spindles, just have not installed them yet. And I like those bumpers. I need some new ones and was contemplating those myself. Looks good.

I don't mean to sound like a critic, but thought I would let you know that those are not '31 Ford taillights. They are '38-'39 Ford taillights. Good looking ride!
