We are set to head out Friday. The earlier the better (to avoid any friday traffic which starts getting heavy around 2:15)

Re: BUG-A-PULLUZA
Of course! Hopefully we can get a mini caravan going. Maybe we can persuade Glenn to leave closer to the 1 side. I'm not sure what time Bryce is planning on heading out, but possibly we can get a small Airheads caravan.rpm750 wrote:Eric can we hook up? Re: BUG-A-PULLUZA
I would encourage everyone to adorn your Georgia Dubs apparel or stickers the weekend of Buga... I hope most of us have a Tee or something that will promote our club. Some of our chapters have their own Tee's and what not and that is fantastic. I'll try and have some of the business cards printed out for us as well.
I'm fired up about the cruise up and to see everyone. Remember the following weekend will be another great event at the Drive Inn!
Everyone be safe and smart(responsible). We can't control the Deer but we can control ourselves!!!

My departure time depends strictly on what time Lara gets off work. She is usually done around 1:00 sometimes she gets out around 12:30.

Re: BUG-A-PULLUZA
When we went to the BBQ, we stopped at Camp Creek Prkwy McDonalds. It's just off I-285 on the west side just north of I-85 connector. Not sure what time probably around 12:30 - 1:00. We'll figure it out and let everyone know before hand.
Re: BUG-A-PULLUZA

Re: BUG-A-PULLUZA
I think most of the Airheads will be heading up Friday. I can't speak for everyone else, but Kelly and me will be camping friday and saturday night. If you need a group to ride up with on Saturday, check the Addicts forum. I think Gary was trying to get someone from his group to lead a Saturday convoy.

i would think straight up 75, since thats the easiest, and quickest way to get there.
Any set meeting place yet? if the addicts are also going up friday, perhaps the airheads, and addicts can all meet up somewhere, and we can all ride up together. and any other groups going. like all the groups can all meet up in marietta, since its on the way, or something like that. just a thought.
and if anyone breaks down we can bring tow bars and just drag them there...any body got a tow bar for a super beetle, lol

Re: BUG-A-PULLUZA
Last year we met at the exit or two past 285 and 75 Dave and busters exit. We got there early and ate at cracker barrel and waited on the rest that were suppose to show up but..... Jon showed as we were leaving.

This sounds good. I just want to be above the perimeter before traffic comes to a stand still. Once I'm above the perimeter I don't care what time we head out from the meeting location. Like you said, I can get there early and eat, chill, and look around waiting on everyone else. I'm not concerened about the bug sitting in stop n go traffic, I'm more concerned about myself. Downtown traffic makes me and just puts me in a bad mood!

Re: BUG-A-PULLUZA
Craker Barrel, (Delk Road Exit @ Franklin Rd.) around 11:30, beat the "ol foggies" for lunch! Sounds like a plan to me. We can eat, take about an hour or so, leave around 1pm? This will be a nice convoy!
Re: BUG-A-PULLUZA
Im sure alot of you know, but for those who dont!!!!!! I-75 north to exit 1 in Tenn. turn right then get in the left turn lane immediatly and turn left go straight into the park!! Ill be getting there early too get us all a good camping spot, ANY REQUESTS FOR A SPOT?????? ie* does anybody really need electric?? not sure if its extra but I will be looking for a very shaded spot. and high ground incase of rain..
