Any one on here "loose" as 66 Vert?

There was a sharp '66 vert pretty stock looking (teal w/ white top) sitting on the side of the interstate yesterday in Chattanooga TN.
Had a vintage unrestored GA Plate on it.
Parking lights were on, no driver to be seen.
I am thinking it ran out of gas, but just wanted to see if any one on this forum was passing through Chattanooga yesterday.
Several of the SCVF members stoped and looked around to help, some even snapped a photo or two.
Just curious.
