Welding Patch Panel Tip
I've had a few folks ask me about my tricks for installing a patch panel. I ran across this tonight. I haven't seen this one before but this video clip is exactly how I do my panels. From removing the spot welds to welding the patch panel in. Doesn't matter if it's a floor patch, rocker or even a dogleg you name it this is how I do mine. It's rather easy and just take your time to make each weld count. Cool the panel so it will not warp on ya and you're on your way.
Back when I was building "OBugga" I took my car to a guy to have him repair the lower door hinge area and when I got it back after $360 bucs I was pissed because it looked like I had done it. I believe that even back then I could have done a better job. "Geek" has the same problem and with the skills I have developed to date it wont be sent off this time.
