LOL.
Looks good.
If you want I can look at the Raceland Coil overs part # that Gary (or PO) put on the one I have.

Re: 2003 Passat GLX Wagen/ The Goldmember (Goldshwagen)
Had some spare time at work tonight- so I "pimped" Kales new ride.
Before-
I slapped some Centerlines on it, but he can probably find some cool as rims that would be better....... I just tried to old skool it a little and bring back some of the details that Pearl had (I'm really diggin' the leadsled style grill too).

I love mine as well.
Middle seat in back is small but doable.
is yours the 1.8 T?
I had top put axles and the maintenance to the engine, but other than that life has been great.

but you cant rebuild them drew
if one shock blows you either go back stock or buy new coilovers
vmaxx is the cheapest rebuildable coils out there i think
idk if they make them for a passat wagon though

The only problem I have had with my Racelands is that they squeek if it has been really damp for a few days.drewBAKER wrote:racelands are your best bet. great bang for your buck.
I am planning on spraying them down with silicone lubricant.

Re: 2003 Passat GLX Wagen/ The Goldmember (Goldshwagen)
I don't think I have ever owned a car long enough to even replace shocks. Which ever is cost efective is the route I am goin. I wont need to rebuild em in my time.....as far as sqweeks go that gives it the old skool edge. Lol!buggin70 wrote:drewBAKER wrote:racelands are your best bet. great bang for your buck.

Re: 2003 Passat GLX Wagen/ The Goldmember (Goldshwagen)
I have ran racelands on several cars and have had good luck with them. My old cabrio is still riding around on them and they have been on there well over 2yrs. I haven't had any experience with vmaxx though. The biggest problem i've seen is people run them too low and no shock will last that way. Just don't buy fk's. They are truly junk.

I'm sure there's a label that says that in the instructions. They seem to be the reasonable.
