ive been looking everywhere and i cant find where to decode the vin at

This a beetle? If so, it was made in April of 1960.

Just remember the numbers shown are the LAST one made that month.
Nothing else you can "decode" out of the beetle vins unfortunately. IE...it won't tell you the original color or options it came with.

yes its a beetle its on a 67 pan and i know its a 58 59 or 60
that number is the one on the plate in the trunk

Well then look again silly! Scroll to the top of the page and make sure you are looking at the type I numbers.
