silverscreen and gasoline

this is the hot rod show that takes place at the annual Drive-Invasion event at the starlight drive in.
drew and i went last year with the aircooled leisure club and had a blast. would love to see another good dub turnout this year.
live music all day. movies all night. its a good time for sure

sunday september 4th. i know its the day after the callaway gardens show and i'm planning on doing both so anyone who wants to cruise up sunday morning from the pine mountain/ southside area i'm totally down

We enjoyed it last year but we won't be goin again $40.00 for two people was way too exspensive for a non judged show. You can go there any other night and watch movies all night for $7.00. Broke folks need not apply.....

I haven't gone since the Road Kings quit putting on the show. Josh the organizer that started it all worked for me at the time and put on a good show. When it started getting popular, the drive in people cut them out of the picture to make all the money for themselves. Greed. I won't support them anymore.

yes it is expensive but it is judged i got a trophy last year lol
and garage 71 radio puts it on in conjuction with the drive in now not just starlight

and you can print a $5 off coupon from the garage 71 website

We used that coupon last year to get $40 charge. Greed is Def a problem with some of these shows ,especially since times are hard. They need a $10 off coupon. Car turnout wasn't nowhere near as good last year as years before. We should do our own Sat night drive inn get together sometime.

had a big time hangin with rob, chris, jason, and ella of course! lol
ended up leaving early cause of the rain but it held off most of the day and made for a nice overcast cool day.

thanks for posting the pics, i was wondering about the turn-out. looks like some cool rides, love that snub-nose and it's cargo!! that bike looks sweet too.

the rain did put some people off but it was still a good turnout. and yes very cool cars indeed lots more rolled in that i didn't get pics of
