Re: December 13th Sonic Cruise/Bonfire
Looks like there was a good turn out...some nice looking rides(sorry to see what happened to Erics ride).....Looks like several made it for the BonFire....Here's a side note--next time you burn a case-get a cup of water and throw on the case(but don't stand too close to it)...There will be a nice flare up....Looks some what like a volcano erupting-hence don't stand close and if you do be ready to run---Really wish I could have made the trip up for it....Oh Well...maybe next time..... :Hippy:

Re: December 13th Sonic Cruise/Bonfire
Thanks everyone for making me feel like one of the crew. Definitely have found a place to settle in. Will make more of our meets. Can't wait for warmer weather.
We should try the Starlight Drive Inn meet in the spring.

Re: December 13th Sonic Cruise/Bonfire
I saw someone recording the case fire with a cam corder. u need to post that vid . And before anyone wants to cus me out, it was just an old case i had lying aroundm that had a stuck pressure relief piston, and the PO for some reason tried to remove it with a drill, and messed up the bore. also it was linebored .050 over, so i wouldn't have used it anyway.
did you ever go thru the ashes today? did the block off plate or studs survive? if you did find them i'd like to get the studs, i want something to stare and laugh at from time to time, and to remember my poor old case who gave its life to bring us all enjoyment ................ . i heard someone said they wanted the block-off plate, and they can have it. and hey, it's been heat treated, so it works out great
