Car Show April 30 Oconee Co.

Saturday April 30 there is a car show at the Oconee Co Middle School parking lot. It is billed as:
Oconee's 4th Annual Classics in the Country Car and Truck Show

The show is from 10:00am - 3:00pm. Registration is $20.00 with the proceeds going to the Oconee Co High School Track team.

There are several classes including 'Best Foreign'.

One of the promoters called me and asked if we could get some VWs in the show. My car is no show car (it does have shiney paint), but I am going to enter it. I would love to have some other VWs join me. It would be cool to have a strong showing of VWs among all the American iron.

I take my middle school aged son to school every morning because he loves all the comments he gets about the car he comes in. I have realized that VWs are not common place.( I have driven them since 1978 so they seem like everyday cars to me ) We need to show them off. Even if your cars isn't what you would think is 'show worthy', people like to see them. If you have some time, come on out.
