What time were you planning to head out? I got a few things to do in the morning so I might not be able to head out until a little later.

Its an hour and a half ride from here so....10 or 11

I'll be there. Bob, I'll probably call you tonight or in the morning and try to ride over with you. Only got to put about 5 miles on since swapping over the alternator and fuel pump, like to have somebody with me in case I fudged up installing something!

I'll update later this evening about 11 am departure time. Got a fuel pressure regulator on thurs at summit and still need to install then probably retune carbs. I'll be wrenching at the last minute as usual.

anyone Going and Not Showing there car? I'm debating about driving the Dub but don't really have anything worth showing (besides a nice dent in the hood and fender.) I would love to ride down with you guys meeting at McD's in griffin though. I know this is day of/day before show, so i may just show up anyway... We'll see!

I would say there is a large percentage of people who don't show their cars but still drive them. Even if the cars aren't showing or racing, it adds to the feel of the overall show. I never expect to win trophies for my cars but I will sometimes enter them just to add to the show or be in the middle of the action.

See the Sunday crew @ 9 tomorrow.

Ditto. Mine is no where near show worthy but I enter it every year anyway, gets me out there, it's still a blast to sit around and talk and take pictures of my car next to cars that are show worthy

For me its about seeing all the cars

So i guess my car had other plans.... car would not start.... after a long night, and a couple hours the next day turns out the points were all jacked up.... so she's up and running now, but totally missed out on i'm sure an awesome day! So bummed!
