A couple of people have mentioned wanting to go to Stone Mountain as a club. So I figured we could meet at Tanger Mall at the Denny's around 2 amd see how that location works out. Then we can cruise up to Stone Mountain and hang out and check out the laser show. Maybe we can get some other clubs to come out also....

What do you guys think?

Sounds cool. Looks like the vehicle entry fee for the park is $10, and that includes the laser show.

Vehicle entry to Stone Mountain Park requires a valid one day or annual parking permit. This vehicle fee must be paid at the entrance gates to the Park. Bicycles and pedestrians can enter the Park at no charge.

This permit gives you access to many of the Park's fun outdoor activities. This includes, but is not limited to, the public picnic areas, hiking and nature trails, children's playground, walk-up trail, Quarry Exhibit and the Confederate Hall Historical & Environmental Education Center. Plus, the world’s largest Lasershow Spectacular is also free with your parking permit.

One Day Parking Permit for Vehicles with 14 or fewer Passengers: $10.00 (tax included)

That would be a great trip. If my SB is ready by then, I may try to come up that way with the wife and join y'all for both. Could be fun to meet everyone that I've talked to on here for a couple of years

maybe we should re-schedule this??? what say we make plans to make a day of this? go up in enough time to maybe do a cookout or some good ol' KFC...hang out for a while and enjoy the park...then catch the laser show? just an idea.....

Don't worry Gordon, it usually rains every day when we are down there. Of course it only lasts about 10 minutes, then it's back to the sun and drinks!

I won't be getting back until late on the 16th, plus I have a concert I'm going to on the 23rd (this is also the Sugar Hill show, so some people may be going to that), so it's not looking to good for me on this one and I may have to catch it next time. I dig the idea though!

i will see everyone that can make it on the 9th to Denny's. we can further discuss Stone Mountain...any weekend is good for me! i would like to see this as a club event, but we obviously won't be able to accomadate everyone. sooo..i guess we can plan it and see who can join us? i'm down for whenever Bryce...let's do this!
