exhaust ideas

ok so stock 1600dp stock carb and air cleaner i have a empi gt with the baffels taken out and sounds bad ass but i think with the baffels out im losing mpg so iam still using heater boxes so ceramic merged to a ceramic phat boy muffler or same header and a bugpack single quite pack. its for a daily drive a little more than 80 miles a day currently getting 24.5 mpg but thats really easy on starts. i like the turbo hush from the phat boy. so what are yalls opinions.
