Meltdown is the next weekend so you can do both

Bug-n-july is the same weekend, but Gary is correct, the Meltdown is the next weekend, so now you don't have any excuse not to cruise up with us & hang out.

As soon as it is decided, there will be a post put up. I am sure it will be sometime between morning and noon on Friday tho.....

We will be meeting at Starbucks on 124. We will meet between 10:30 and 11:00 and pull out at 11:00. Anybody is welcome to join us.

I'll be leaving Athens around noon Friday. What route are y'all taking? I've always done 441 to circle yer wagens, but I've heard there's a faster way that avoids the national forest?

i have to work Friday...we will be heading up eeeeaarrrly Saturday morning. i will be sure and find you guys there!!

I'm not sure what route we are taking, probably whatever the GPS sez. Maybe Gary will enlighten us...................

We are leaving Starbucks on 124 @ 11:00 tomorrow. If you want to roll up with us be there around 10:30 or so.

I'll be taking 441 again. 5 hours, 12 minutes from my work. At least that's what the girl in my gps said today. See ya there!

Just got home from the show and we had a great time. It was insanely HOT but we didn't let that stop us from having fun. We had a good cruise to the show with only one close incident. We had a truck blow a retread next to us and Digger had to duck (he had the safari's open) to keep from getting hit in the head by a piece of tire Once we got to the show he found the chunk of tire in the back of his Bus. On the way home my electronic ignition decided to come apart which threw my timing waaay out. Sounded like a shotgun going off and I was told I was shooting fire out both tail pipes After a short stop and help from Dr. Feelingood we got a set of points in and back on the road.
Digger took 1st place in custom Bus (congrats!) and I took second in Superbeetle More than anything though we had a great time hanging out. We are looking forward to doing it again next weekend in Alabama.

Hey everyone! JackiesGirl here (a.k.a. Nanette) from Knox Volks Motor Club. I want to thank each and every one of you for coming up to our show. You've posted some great pics! We appreciate your support so much and hope you had a great time.

Just so you know, the show date is being moved next year to a little earlier in the year -- May. Hopefuly we'll be able to avoid the extreme heat.
