If this guy goes Megajolt, he can get rid of the distributor, and wires, and run the coil pack on the back of the shroud, and hide the wires. Ultra clean

I actually have 2 apron badges from this dealership. I found a camo'd baja in a junkyard with them on each apron. Got them home, cleaned the latex paint off, and good as new.

Did any one ever see the '66 - ish turbo'ed beetle that ended up in Cleveland TN.
It came from cali and had the rear parcel shelf cut out and the firewall up behind the rear seat.
The original fabricator fliped the DP intakes and moved all the turbo and intake stuff behind the shroud.
It was VERY CLEAN.
Looked perfect.
I want to do that one day.
He had an access point just behind teh rear seat for tuning and such.
I never use that area behind the seat any way....

if you don't know of him go look at some of his stuff, chris burden is one of my favorites, i've written 2 papers and given several presentations on him lol

I'll never understand how nailing yourself to the roof of a car is art. Just sounds like cruelty to the car.

it is a performance piece. the idea is not to create a painting or similar traditional "fine art" piece for everyone to see. the art is the performance or the act and the concepts and ideas behind it, and is intended to create an emotion or solicit a response in the viewer and not just give them something to look at

for example this piece was designed to comment on religion and the cruelties of man, as Burden is literally crucified on the back of the car while the engine was run at speed for two minutes to mimic screams of agony.
