purchased your Ocean Center ticket seperately, plus you get prime parking right in
all the action saturday night!!!


DIRECTIONS
From Atlantic Ave, turn onto Earl Street heading west. Then take a left

Well from Summit to the Hooters warm up party i think it said 406 miles! So thats what like 7 to 7 1/2 hours drive time for us!

WOW someone told me it was like 9hours. Some people just don't no what there talking about. Thanks guys.

For all you green horns this drive will take up to nine hours I drove it every other weekend all year last year alone in my 66 with a freeway flyer and 1776 engine. With the amount of cars goin it could take about nine hrs. I have never made this trip in seven hrs in a vw on a solo trip may make it in 8 if we have minimal stops and no car trouble. I have family and friends there.this trip is long so get ready.

WOW!!!! every other weekend that's crazy. Well I'm in for you to lead us down there. I'm sure you know your way there. Well 7hours or 9hours I'm a road hug. I use to drive from long Island NY all the way down to Miami spend the day and come back up the next day. So I'm read lead the way bro.

Be glad to lead,that's a long haul. The drive to daytona seems long enough. Vw tanks are way too small and the low gearing doesn't help. We are ready to meet up and get goin though it's a stretch. By the time we get to 295/95 we will be in the thick of traffic on the later part of the trip.

I am expecting every bit of 9 hours. It will be a long drive but it will be fun... so bring it on

Wish I could be going, I used to live down there for 15 years- but not this time. It is a long drive. I've revisited and drove a bug, and a rental- and I say its on the 9hr. side of things. 95 through Jacksonville SUX!!!!

You guys and gals be safe and have a great time! Sorry we are missing it. Take lots of pictures for those of us who can't make it.

Even better would be for someone with an i-phone or blackberry, whatever, to update this thread and keep a blog going of what is happening on the trip.

I will be ride'n with kale and will have my iphone with me at the front of the pack won't be a problem. I will also be taking the pics. I am so excited it is my first show. SSSSHHHHHOOOOOTTTT YEAH!!!!!!
