money??????

How do you guys pay for your "habit"?
My cars off the road for weeks at a time while I wait for some extra $ to come in.

Carbs going, generator going and now my coil started leaking

Anybody need any tshirt designs or simple websites let me know

I am in the same boat here, my bus was off the road for a few months while i saved up for the new transaxle. Sorry no shirts needed here im a Graphic Designer as well

I'm savin' for my next car, '64 sunroof. Saving and paying cash is best but sometimes I just can't wait! Huh, Visa or MaterCard?

Well i have whats called a JOB . Also, i have two ING savings accounts. one is just for savings, the other i named "VW stuff", and have it automatically deposit $20 every paycheck to the account. the good thing about an ING account, is that it takes a week (6-7 days) to get your money out, so i'm not tempted to withdrawl money everytime i see something shiny i don't need .

Yikes, what about those times when you do need it?

I'll hold off on big purchases until I get "extra" money. I consider things like tax refunds, birthday, and xmas to be "extra" money. I know tax refunds are really my earned money, but since it doesn't come in a regular paycheck, I consider it extra. Like when I ordered my disc brakes, I used some of my tax refund money for those. Other big items I try to hold off on and get for my birthday or christmas. However, the small stuff still adds up quickly and then I just prioritize what I need or want according to my current fund status.

That is quite true... credit cards ruined me for about a year... kids 18+ but its well worth it. I have a few more interest hungry banks to pay off then I will have a lot of "extra" money coming in. I have a nice flow going right now, fix something, then wait till next payday fix something else, eventually I will 100-300 a payday my vw to perfect condition... depending on bills I could put that all on bills, but u gotta treat everyone to an allowance, all the fam gets one and the bug gets one gotta do my part to stimulate the economy

We'll i don't throw ALL my money into the ING accounts. for example, i have it auomatically set to deposit $20 every paycheck to my "VW stuff" account, and $100 to my savings. and if i happen to have any extra a few days before my next paycheck, i'll deposit some extra to the "vw stuff" ING account, and some to the regular ING savings acocunt. so if something ever comes up, i'll have the money there, and just wont be able to deposit anything before the next paycheck. make sense?
