Stars and Strikes CAR SHOW

hey all i am part of a team of guys that Stars and Strikes bowling alley is sponsoring to throw their first annual car show. any cars, bikes, big trucks welcome, and there will be a system sound off with db readings as well as exhaust notes. 1st through 3rd places for the car show will be awarded with trophies in the following categories: imports, domestic, euro, bike, and trucks as well as a best in show and a peoples choice award. we will be grilling and drinks will be served, bring your ID if you want the good drinks ;]. after the show we are cruising to dinner at (undecided) restaurant.

sign up opens at 9:00 am
kick off at 12:00pm
ends around 6-8ish with all the events in between

How Much:
$20 per vehicle
$100 for a shop/product booth

SOMEBODY COME OUT!!! I will be there in my dub and i hope to see as many local and maybe nonlocal dubbers as possible!!! dont make us judge camaros and corvettes alllll day..

Very nice place to have a show. Very large parking lot with easy access. I have been meaning to contact the manager about having a crusie night there and open it to all the clubs. This will be even better. Plenty of fun for the whole family if they get tired of just sitting. They have bowling, bumper cars, lazer tag, and a ton of video games and its all indoors. Very good resturant inside.

PLEASE tell everyone you know about this and lets show them the vw scene ! its gonna be fun, and off the record i might have got a call from someone coporate at advance auto parts and they might be sponsoring the show and might give out free goody bags. just sayin Lets do this!

If I am feeling alright I might show, I have surgury on wednesday but the doc perscribed me some vicadin so I should be able to handle the pain for a round of cruisin. I am not too far from there. Ill do the sound off with my bug both the stereo and exhaust... I guess I'll ride up there with no baffle in

we have advertised everwgere prob 1000 flyers

we went to every shop and auto parts store

mainstream performance said they can get 50 cars easy

the lady at advanced autoparts sent a copy to all ga locations

anyone going today, I think I am up to it. Ill see how toby does in the sound off comps

I'll probably stop by mid day and check it out- "sans Vw" though. Hopefully gonna get my car back from storing it later this week- and continue it's 'summer rehabilitation'. ..... been a crazy summer. Still trying to sort everthing out.
