Two new finds

The guys at work were giving me hell about messing with vws. Wel one of them told me were to complete cars are at pretty close in my area,not sure what years. Ones white and ones orange he said they look like they are in good shape. Im off tomorow so im gonna try and look at them or maybe friday. ill get pics hopefully i can post em. Oh yeah god to have a site just for GA maybe it will bring some of us closer to other vw nuts (not in a gay way)

On a serious note, where are the cars located? I'm about 5 minutes from Loganville which is just a stones throw from your neck of the woods.

Are these cars just outside of Bostwick? A guy named Mark has a white 72 and an orange 71 in his side yard.

Ah yessir that must be them. Have you seen them? Im gonna see if i can find them today, im waiting on the damn digital camera battery to charge up.

I have seen them, the white one is for sale and has been restored. The orange one he just recently bought and I don't know what it's condition is.

Well im gonna try and post these pics. Yeah that was Mark the white one had been restored. It was red noe its white,he said the engine had 15k on it and came from cali from the previous owners. Overall pretty good shape for a daily driver. Not very much rust drivers floor pan looked fixed and the passenger side may have been replaced. It was hard to get under it far. The interior was in good shape i dont know were that pic went to. He wanted 5200.00 for it

The orange one he said he really wanted to keep but he may sell. It needs some work.Floor pans interior but not a very bad car.

A guy from Mississippi is flying in on Saturday and driving it home. I'll be making sure it's 100% ready for the trip today.
