I hate that I am going to miss it this year. The family and I are going to Disney for the week so I won't be here. Hopefully a decent number of other people from our club will be able to make it.

That is funny you mention Disney, we are going for a few days the week after the event. My kids have a fall break for 3 days.
Hate that you will miss it, but will have photos posted after the event to see when you get back!

Several of us here in Augusta go down Saturday and stay at the Days Inn in Byron.

Hotel rooms
There are no rooms in Perry, due to the fact that the Fair is happening. Please take a look at the Accommodations' link below for a list of hotels in Byron. Byron is a straight shot to Reynolds on the 4 lane HWY and you don't have to go through Fort Valley.

The Georgia National Fair will be happening in Perry. So if you come early Saturday, that would be a great place to spend with the family. More info at http://www.georgianationalfair.com/

I do beleive dad will now get to go and take the car,we will see how he does!its the first time he has drove in 20 yrs.

I'm still working on some hotels here in Warner Robins, but so far, I've talked to the Jameson Inn, 2731 Watson Blvd, Warner Robins. It's actually across the street from where we did the cruise in at Backyard Burger, and their GM told me if you call them up, let them know you're coming for the VW Event in Reynolds, they'll give you a discounted rate. Instead of $77 a night, it'll be $70. I know it's a little high, but if rooms are tight, every dollar counts. Their number is: 478-953-5522.

I'm still working on a cruise in in Byron, possibly at the Denny's, where they may give a discount or something for everyone to eat and park....I'll let you guys know if I get anything worked out.

This event is coming up FAST! Next weekend!
Hopefully we will have some much cooler weather, but not as cool as March!

I have sent flyers out in the area to some shops, do any of you guys need some?

I'm planning on showing up Sunday but I would like to refrain from herding cats (parking cars) this time and just enjoy the show. Is Proflow going to be there again? I have some machine work I woud like them to do and want to talk to them about it.

I think I saw that Pro-Flow was one of the sponsors for Circle Yer Wagens this year, so Steve may be taking the trailer up there that weekend, but I'm not sure. He may be sponsoring the Reynolds show as well.

AVWA is one of Steve's sponsors, so I am not sure what he will be doing. Maybe going on Saturday to TN and then back to Silver on Sunday. He does have a chance in the SEVWA points. I kinda put this event on that CYW date and the only vendor that it would effect was Steve. Better call and see what his plans are before bringing it all to Silver and then him not be there.
