Stone Mountain cruise August 16th

We will be cruising to Stone Mountain this coming Sat. for a picinic on the lawn and then the laser show. We will meet at Discover Mills in front of Bass Pro Shops between 6 and 6:30pm. We will pull out at 6:30 for a short cruise over to the mountain. Once there we will set up on the main lawn to have a picnic dinner and then watch the laser show. This is their 50th year anniversary so it is supposed to be pretty cool. Everybody will be responsable for bringing their own food and drinks. Don't forget blankets for sitting on the lawn also.
Also, my family and I are going to stay and camp at the mountains camp grounds Sat. night. I believe it is $30 for the night. If anybody wants to do the same and join us you are more than welcome.

Yeah, bring it. I can definately see some cool pictures. Are you bringing both bugs or just the balck one?

Probably just the black one. It will only be one either way.

Looks like we are going to make it tomorrow. My wife said she will give it a try and if she starts to feel uncomfortable (9 mos pregnant), we will leave early.

Awesome! I'm glad you are going to make it. Hopefully your wife will be o.k. but if you do need to leave we will all understand. You have to keep mama happy.

I wish I could make it but my rain of bad luck is still kickin hard, unless by some miracle the military deposits the now $1200 in the bank that they took from me, so i can get some seatbelts and other parts I need to make the bug more reliable on the interstate, or I could come in the GLI, is anyone against that? it is technically aircooled because the air has to flow through the radiator to cool the liquid off and shes a vdub

Watercooled is ok. Come on out dub or no dub.

I didn't make it out. My wife wants to stay close to home until the baby is born. We ended up going out to a local car show in Hiram.

Just got home. Had a blast. Cant wait till next weekend.

It was a lot of fun as always. We had a great time at the Mountain talking,eating, and just
relaxing. The laser show was pretty good this year and the fireworks were really good.

What's with the cop? Was he related to the Security dude @ Bass Pro and making sure you were all in parking spots? Why is "The Man" always mess'n with dubbers?
