Was approached about organizing future car show

I was approached tonight at the Marietta Cruse Night about organizing a car show in the future. I need input on this. It would be a fund raiser for a church youth group. The church has a huge parking lot and is located in West Cobb County on a major road.

Looking for a good time of year and who it would need to be open to.
