Came across this today never been but I am going to plan to go now.

The Athens Club has talked about doing a trip there for awhile now. The place is opened only on odd times, but I talked to "Mr. Double Bubble's" neighbor a couple of weeks ago, he is selling a 74 Ghia for a friend, and he said the guy is really cool and would open up to a large crowd if we arranged it.

I'd love to make a trip there.

Yeah that is what I was thinking....

It's a very cool place and if you sweet talk the owner you might be able to run one of the e cars on the track behind the shop.

hahaha that is my shaky hand from all the excitement....

I went there with a buddy a couple of years ago and they were closed according to the guy manning the door but the owner overheard our pleas and invited us in and gave us a personal tour conducted by the guy who does all of the restorations. He devoted his body shop in Canada over fifteen years ago to doing nothing but working on the cars the owner finds all over the world he is on retainer to work exclusively on the cars the guy buys. He travels to Madison every time he delivers a fresh restoration. He gave us a gallon bucket of bubble gum upon leaving. We learned that the owner owns several of the largest bubble gum companies in the world. We had a ball and got to go in the warehouse where new finds were waiting to be restored. If you haven't been you owe yourself a favor. Just go it's unreal and it will blow you away. I highly recommend it.
