Newbie in Jackson, GA

Good evening everyone. I have owned my share of Beetles and buses, but when my daughter (14) wanted an early 60's bug for her first car I was blown away. We searched for a couple of months and found. 1960's Bug in Daytona Beach. She loves the car and is excited to show it at Summit this upcoming Monday. It was a one owner car that had been very well taken care of then it was fully restored and garages in 1992. We drove it from Stockbridge to Jackson today and it was a blast. I have a few items take care of with my daughter. By the way she is daughter #3 of 6 girls. We are on the hunt for a driverside semaphore before we strip it down later this fall for a back to factory paint job. I look forward to meeting you all at the next cruise night. Thank you for the welcome! We are going to take her to the Summit get together tonight with a few others with their non-VW's. This will be Saira's first showing. I think she is excited but what goes on in a 14 y/o girls mind is a mystery sometimes. It will solid daddy and daughter time.
