bought a 74 standard today.

Went and made a deal on a nice 74 beetle. Been sitting for a few years so I'm sure it will need brakes. Body is in very nice shape. Never wrecked. Complete car. Needs floors patched in a few places. Has a motor with supposedly 10xxx miles since rebuilt. I checked the end play it was nice, full of clean oil, and spun freely. Will be delivered this weekend. Needs a few patches on the front floor board. I will post pictures when she gets home.
