How to sell a dead beetle?

Hi, All;

My 2004 beetle died while driving it a few days ago. I've since learned that the engine has seized and I sadly think it's time from me to part from my old friend. Does anyone have any suggestions about how to dispose of the car? Buyers who might be interested in a car that is in otherwise good condition? Places that will buy it for parts? Scrap yards?

Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

I'd throw it on Craigslist. May be somebody out there with the opposite problem (wrecked beetle with a good engine).

Scrapper will probably give you $250 hauled off or $300ish if you take it to a scrap yard. If the tires are good, good battery, interior is nice, and the body is nice I would put it on craigslist for 5-600. If you just want it gone I will give you the $250 for it and I will build something out of it.
