Still not sure I'm taking the bus. But based on the forecast, I probably will. Sleeping off the ground seems much more appealing since its going to rain Friday.

We, Eric and I, will most likely leave the Newnan area around 8:30 and we can stop around the Washington Rd./285 and wait on who ever. We need to roll out from that area around 9:30.

Glenn take a couple rpm750s(gotyur assengear) and you will beat me there!

I suppose, if I leave 30 minutes earlier, I'll get there around the same time or I can just catch you guys some where down the line since The Jolly Rancher can do around 70mph now.

Glenn, maybe we can try and talk bob into bumping departure time back by about 15 minutes. Want to make sure we miss friday morning rush hour.

Though if we're maybe heading out from Washington road by 9:30, we can probably leave Newnan area by 9am and make that.

Forgot about rush hour!!! Perhaps earlier with a stop for breakfast or later when the crap has cleared. I not going to spend an hour or more wearing out my throw out bearing.

I don't remember running into any stop and go traffic. At least the direction we go, up I-85, 285 and then I-75. Maybe up at 285/I-75/575 splits.

It's a total s@#!storm on 75 headed north on regular mornings. Friday is just that much worse. Think I'll wait till 10 to roll out. Should put me in Chatt sometime around 1:00. Save me enough space for the bus and my ez-up if you get there before me.

In the process of getting an upright engine together for the bus to hopefully drive up this weekend. But if not ill be in my truck. ill be up there around 630-7 pm on Friday if anyone wants to hold a spot for two small tents we would appreciate it. Ill supply some firewood and treats

Agreed. But to get to the North side, I'd have to leave here before six.

That is what is great about living in Newnan. Traffic on I-85 is nothing like I-75! Bob, we are up for leaving whenever. Glenn, we'll definitely save you a spot.

You set the time I'll be there. Pen is driving up after school if it's not raining. Weather forecast is saying rain mainly before 2pm. Looks like we can't make that call untill the radar is showing something.

How about we leave out of Hardees around 9:15. that should get us to the northside of 285 by about 10:00 (miss most traffic), and then a good 1.5 hour cruise to the state line should get us there around 11:30. That's great that Pen can make it, hopefully the rain will be gone by then.

Sounds good. I might go in and get a biscuit for the drive up.

Eric what kind of speed are ya'll running? I should be hitting Atlanta around 10:30.

We cruise around 60.

I usually run around 70mph until I look in the rear view mirror and see I left Bob about 2 miles behind me . But seriously, we usually cruise about 62-63 on the interstate. By 10:30 though, we should hopefully be about 45 minutes north of Atl.

Abuse, nah.......I can just go faster cause I only carry camping necessities, while you carry anything that will fit in your bus!

I might be able to meet y'all at that exit round that time, we'll see. If not ill prolly catch up to y'all. Last year I took the same route, prolly closer to 10am, and didn't hit any traffic. There was a lot of cars but I was still able to ride the hammer lane doin 80-85 (was tryin to catch up to Bob and Eric. didn't happen, lol)

I here Bob, I"m still getting use to the bus and only been about 60 in it.
