Just got a Sapphire XVII 8 track / AM radio

Any one know any thing about this, strangely enough the samba is almost mute on it.
I know it is a 1970-71 made by motorola,
Going to put it in the bus, But might sell it, I have another less rare 8 track that will fit.
Anyone?
