BUG-A-PULLUZA

Last year we were out in front of the stage (kinda the middle of the field)and it was a pretty decent spot I thought.

I want to try to leave by mid- afternoon Friday- but I need to get that ok'd at work. I"ll start a thread on the DD's and see if I can find out what others are doing.

If I come i will be trailering my 71 up there If yall will let me do that. Between me and my son, all the camping stuff including tents cook ware etc. It wont fit . My tent fits the bed of my truck.
Will yall let me join yall?

Of course!!!! everyone is welcome, heck im gonna have my silverado, bug, tent, cookin stuff, grill, a screen tent (maybe) and its my sons birthday so we will be doing that as well (hes gonna be 2)

The hell it won't! Me, the wife, 3 year old son, car seat, 90lb lab, cooler, stove, tent, clothes, mattress, lanterns, toys and on and on. She'll make it!

Who all are putting their car in the show? Need to know if I should . Dont want to be the only one. Or are yall just going and camping.

Just a couple questions about Bug-a-Paluza.

1. Anybody entering their car into the show or just going in it.

2. If I bring mine up on a trailer can you park the truck and trailer close to the car or where you are camping?

3. My tent sets up in the bed of my truck so I would like to have room with all of yalls tent. Can this work?

4. Never been to one is is easy to find?

Do we park all of our cars together under the banner?
all the info you can give I would appreciate it.

I will be coming up either Friday afternoon after my son gets out of school or early Sat morning. Will there be room for me and my truck and the VW

Ive entered my bug in the show in the ANTI-SHOW class as far as I know There is plenty of room for your truck and trailer Im going to have my truck there as well, .I guess its all on how we arrange the cars and tents, And yes its easy to find, I-75 north to exit 1A just after the state line into Tenn. the exit will bear to the right (east) as soon as you get off the ramp get into the left lane and you will be making the first left and then just follow the road to the park....

We will be arriving on Friday somewhere around 6pm. I will have my bug on the trailer. I am concerned about getting it off the trailer with it being lowered. Is there a slope or hill that I can put my ramp to to get the car off?
I am realy looking forward to meeting alot more of yall.
Is there fires allowed in the camp sites? If so I have some fire wood.
Just let me know.

slopes for the trailer ramps Im not sure, Fires yes as long as they re in a containment, ie* 55 gal drum or a fire pit (home depot) $50.00 I think a couple people are bringing pits, but the more fire wood the better still in for chilli nights!!!

Yup- I remember seeing some really low buses easing on/off trailers on the slopes- they are kinda like shallow gullies for drainage I think.

Trailers are for boats.

I have extra air matresses if anybody needs one. I also have a 3 dome tent if anybody is in need to of one. It has a large
tent in the middle with one on each side. They zip all together or you can use them seperately. Just let me know so I can bring it.

I plan on coming up, just not sure if it will be Friday or Saturday. My wife is having her foot operated on next Friday. I may bring my old Ford truck and a trailer to see what I can find to bring back.

I'm leaving Savannah around 4 on Friday. It would be sweet to meet up with some folks tho it seems everyone will be there or on the way by the time i make it through ATL

I am probably not leaving until after work so.... I am in Griffin.

Being that we are so close to the show we are actually going to head up on thursday to get a really good spot.. and to get a 1st dibs on the venders!!!! as they set up, Im on my way home from Cali. with stops in Acworth,Calhoun,Cartersville and Dalton!!

Eric, for you I can do that, No problem!! really good thing you let me know b4 I went up there now Ill just go to the A.S.S. bank and pull the cash out and will be good to go

Does anyone have Verizon or Sprint Direct Connect? This would be helpful if anyone gets stranded on the way up or down.
