'68 Bug - Looking for Resources
Hello group..
Not new to bugs, but my first bug in almost 20 years. I'm looking for places to get parts in the East Coast.. So far I've had to order everything from California and although I have a lot of resources there, it takes forever for things to arrive..
Of course, most places in the east coast that I've found seem to get things from California and want to charge almost twice the price.. any help would be appreciated..
Right now I'm looking for wheels, interior parts (low back seats) and anyone that does interior at a reasonable price..
Here it is... It's running great, but adding front disk brakes and drop spindle..

Re: '68 Bug - Looking for Resources
Welcome back to the sickness.
There are several vendors in the Atlanta area. Closest to you would be Billie (Stockornaut) in Cumming and Clyde in Athens (Athens German Aircooled Parts). We have several shops listed here on the site under "Gerogia's Dub Shops" at the bottom of the main page.
Kip (Love's trim Shop) does fantastic custom interior work and his prices are fair.
For the seats, I'd post an ad in the wanted section and call Herrel's bug parts in Carrolton and bugeyed.net in Macon.

Howdy neighbor !!
There are several of us right in your back yard, and Clyde (Athens German Aircooled Parts) is not far at all.
And, welcome to the forums!!
