Also. Weather Channel forecast for East Ridge right now is a 20% chance of 'stray' showers Friday evening, and a 40% chance of thunderstorms Saturday evening and sunny on Sunday. I've been to Camp Jordan today and the camping field is dry, and the creek is low. So even with a little rain Saturday evening, the field should be fine.

Don't park on the grass outside the camping gate or alongside the show grounds. East Ridge has new trees planted and signs are posted not to park there. East Ridge police will write you a ticket!

First let me say wow, the weather was really nice, glad I went. I'll try not to wig out again. Good to see you guys that I chat with on here and meet some new folks. I'm happy to report that "Moto" "Cash Cab" did great. We got back on Sunday around 1:30pm.

One of the rides that really caught my eye was this fine pickup. I talked with the owner he built it. An engine fire destroyed the rear of the car but it lives on in this form. It was a '61.

A little drizzle on the drive up early Friday morning, and that was all the precipitation for the weekend cheers

. We had a blast! Bocephus performed super for his first run on the interstate and his first out of state trip (ok I know it was just barely out of state, but it counts!)

I think the forecast really scared a lot of people away as the campground didn't seem anywhere near as crowded as it has in years past. But the show was still packed full of awesome cars. I struck out in the swap meet and didn't find much of what I had on my list, but there were a ton of sellers there.

As usual, I didn't take any pics except for a few cell phone pics of me and Snorklestang.

Had an awesome trip and scored some nice snowflakes for Euro Trash, nice meeting new folks and getting to see the regular guys I know.

Had a great weekend at the show hanging out with some friends and making some new ones. The swap seemed to be a little more than average, but the show looked a little weak, looks like a lot of the higher-end show cars stayed home (probably due to the threat of bad weather). Scored a nice rear apron for my bus and Big Al let me sit in Snorkelstang! cheers

show was awsome. as usuall, i spent way more then i should have at the swapmeet. sure didn't expect it to get so friggin cold this morning. must have looked at the weather about a hundred times before the show, but just looked for rain, didn't even pay attention to the temp Laughing

BTW, if anyone brought any pets, u may want to check their paws. there were these tiny balls that looked like they had needles sticking out of them, all over the place. they were about the size of a pencil eraser. they aren't actually sharp, even tho they look like it. they just grab onto anything, carpets, fur, etc. there was a bunch of them between my dogs "toes". didn't hurt them, just made it wierd for them to walk.

Had a blast hanging with my Georgia Dubs Peeps- it's always great to see everyone's projects, and hang out around the campfires while everyone enjoys some adult beverages drunken

Scored some parts for my Squareback at the swapmeet, but the highlight of the weekend had to be this

I had a great time with everyone and my kids this weekend. The Westy made it back home even after the axels have failed after a rebuild..... Crunching. It didn't even use a tank of gas there n back,loving it. Can't wait till next year.

Did anybody get a good picture of all the bikes Friday night? They were packed in under three eazy ups. Very cool. NEXT YR WILL BE EVEN BETTER,JUST WAIT! Props to Patrick for making a tasty Lo Country Boil on Saturday.
