bad vibrations
i got a bad vibration coming from the rear end of the car at medium revs anybody got any ideas

While the car is moving of just when the engine is reved up?

Probably a bearing giving up the ghost. Grab the rear tire at the 9 and 3 oclock position and give it a good wiggle. If it is loose you'll problably have to replace the bearing. Also check the cotter pins are in place on the big nuts and make sure nuts themselves are not loose. May seem stupid but make sure all the lugs are in place and snug too.

I had this happen. Jacked up the back thinking I needed new CV joints and when I went to take the wheels off they were all very loose.bumblebuggy wrote:May seem stupid but make sure all the lugs are in place and snug too.
