All Clubs Event (GA Dub Spring Fling)?

OK with Spring just around the corner (please, nobody correct me on this because my warm nature ass can't take it), I thought it would be awesome to have a VDUB weekend with all the clubs involved on this site. I always see people saying "I'd like to put a face with a name", "I'd like to meet up with you guys" and on and on so I say let's make it happen. We have had intermingling at some of the events but never a mass meet. I know it's a ways out but I think this would be a great start in spring to the warm weather months that follow. Weekend camp out, a cruise, a tech weekend, all of the above? Or.................

I just want to get the ball rolling, see if there is any interest, ideas, anything.................................

I agree but what is central to frickin' everywhere? North Atlanta, Athens, Augusta, Griffin, Dalton, and on and on. I know we can't accommodate everyone but I'll look and see what is closest for all. Do we have anyone south of Warner Robins?

Interstate wise, Conyers/Covington is the best bet. I-20

I guess we need a theme before we decide on a location. Camping? If so, do we want a big field? Try for a lake or river? A fellow dubbers shop?

Camping is always good for me.

I am not too familiar with the area so I am no help with trying to find a place.

Sounds like a great idea to me. You can definately count the Addicts in and I am all for camping.

Gonna have to do some research on the camping thing and get back to ya.

Aren't we doing YU Bugg'n 2009 in early April? Camping will be available this year if I remember correctly.

Don't forget that the Silver Dollar weekend is March 7/8, when yall make your plans. You all are more then welcome to hand out flyers at the event as well.
Bryce, what is the exact dates for the show in May? I may be planning something down this way with my other car club and don't want to step on anyone.

Yeah but there is a lot of shows going on around that time (farmington, bugapaluza are at the beginning of April) and it rained the first time this past year. So I can deal with a little heat but the rain...

Stone Mountain has Camping, I'm not sure about parking a Camper...... a Splity! Someone check the State park register and maybe we'll be able to coral the sleds together.

They have softball/baseball fields too if the games thing still wanted to be pursued.

You can, $32 to $40 bucks a night plus 8 bucks parking (one time). This is for a water and elec hook up site.
