71 Bay I'm looking at Empty 71 Bay I'm looking at

Friend of mine has a 71 bay that just had the motor lock up on him. Not sure what is wrong with it yet, says the motor was "rebuilt" about a year ago. Looks pretty clean with minor rust in the normal spots.
What kind of price should I offer him so it's fair for both of us?

I know this is a Vague question without pics to show condition. What is the max you would give for a NOT RUNNING 71 Bay?

hard to say for sure without pics.....condition is worth a lot

$1000-1500 if it is in nice condition, complete and not a basket case
