Hello from Albany Ga.Been on the samba site for a while .Just heard about
this site and glad to be a newbie on here.

I wonder if you would ever get in trouble for changing the color of that tag.... I like the matching tag

When I took it up to the tag office the girl said it was one of the nicest vintage tags she had seen, and it looked like it had just been painted yesterday................... 
I don't think the average police officer would be able to tell what the correct color for a 66 tag is anyway.

They gave me a hard time and wouldn't register my public service commission tag because it said psc and it was white and black instead of red and white....maybe I just hit the wrong person on the wrong day....I will try again here in Zebulon.....

yea you prob be ok with the vintage tags- I got pulled inS.C. when i was in highschool. I had painted the yellow Carolina wren red to match my 73 beetle.
