yup pete rhodes. he has another tan square thats at stock height he drives, a patinaed early ragtop beetle that is red, white, orangish and rusty. also another dark red custom beetle with stinger. this guy has alot of vw's. really nice guy. he works at the napa auto parts off of indian trail

I think I saw that same bus parked at a store down in Decatur just off Hwy 78 this afternoon! I thought it might be you, but I guess it was your twin.

I talked to the driver for a few minutes. He was a mechanic from a shop in Tucker who had just put a new motor in it and was giving it a test drive. He didn't know the customer's name. Now that it has a new motor we might see it around even more often.

In Atlanta near peachtree on Thursday, saw a very nice white split window bus. it was stock and had a logo on the doors with black lettering. i couldnt read what it said. But it was clean

If I'd have been driving my bus I definately would have done a side by side shot. But I was in a company car.

Not a vw but got passed by a gold chevy today on 285/75 interchange with a big Air Cooled Addicts sticker on the back.

Passed by a white gon on 85 last Thurs, then he was pulled over so stopped in the traffic jam and asked if it was ok, said his starter was hot? It was ok so rolled on.

On the way to Philly, we saw 2 ghias driving and a super being towed to the Knoxville show and didn't see another aircooled dub til we saw a red bay camper in Baltimore then a white super in Delaware.

got back from vacation today and took the shuttle to pick up our car at the ParkingSpot II over on camp creek parkway. This beauty was parked there. It was nice, suprised I have never seen it at any shows. Owner had parked it in the "covered" section so it's nice to know he is paying a few extra bucks to keep it looking nice!

and before I made it home I saw a nice yellow 74 super turning onto Hwy 316 from Harbins road.
