Sorry if I sound angry but......

I really need to vent this one....... and if anyone can help-

If I try to be optimistic, it must be Gods way of telling me to fix my bug.....

Some *#@X!! jacked my truck today from the Georgia Convention Center!!!!

It looks like this-

There is a dripn driver sticker in the back window of the cap, and a "Drivers wanted" tag (please, no jokes right now) on the front right corner of the bumper.

Got no phone, no ride to get to the bug and fix it, and was supposed to finish moving today. (and all my lifes paperwork is in the truck, with some art for clients too)

If you see it, you probably know what to do.

Wow, Don, sorry to hear this. That really sucks. Hopefully the police will find the truck and the punks that took it.

I just want-
1) my box of documents- can't replace that
2) other peoples stuff I had in there (art)- (yea, I can make it again, but.....)
3) the truck ( it's just a truck, and I was still in process of buying it)
in that order.
People who live life like those punks- will get theirs without my help and ill will.
They'll cross the wrong person eventually. Karma might catch them today. I believe life works like that.

I'm sorry to hear that someone stole your truck, hope the police recover it and it was just a joyride, rather than a chop shop theft. I have a 91 Silverado, and I'm in the process of adding a starter interupt, so even if the thugs bust the column the starter won't operate. I did the same thing on my Monte Carlo SS, I was always afraid someone would steal it. I believe in karma, hope the thieves get what's coming to them!

Probably not a bad idea to put an anti-theft device on the Beetle too, I hope they catch the scumbags

Aww, man. thats awful. i've had things stolen from me, and i know how sick it can make you feel. the sadness of the misisng item, the anger at the A-HOLES who did that, etc. i hope the cops recover it soon, and like someone said, i hope it was just a joyrider, who stole it, and hopefully left it intact, and left all the item inside, unharmed. I'll keep a look out here, and at work (advance auto).

What was the year, make and model?

if anyone just happens to come into the store with it, or whatever (you never know). i hope you retrieve the truck.

Well, the call has come in, the truck has been found.....tomorrow I hope to go see whats left- all the Atl PD will say is "there is steering column and body damage." Here's hoping.......

At least it looks like you'll recover it, and maybe get to spend some quality time at the local Pull-a-Part.

Awsome news. hopefull the contents inside are still there. and that all they did was take it for a joy ride, and got scared, and just left it. I hope they left lots of fingerprints on the inside . their shoild be a law that says if thieves are caught, the have to get a mandtory beat down by the people they stole from

I had a car burn to the ground once... had liability only because I thought that full coverage was expensive... it's really not, and I wouldn't be caught without it ... you never know when something crazy like this is going to happen!

If they do catch who did it they will be responsible for any damages. Yeah its a long shot on getting anything out of them but it does happen. had my truck broken into years ago, apparently they caught the guys in the ring and about 2 years after it happened I got a check from the county for restitution that was paid when they were caught, so maybe.....
