That's O.K.- with only 2 lug bolts holding the rear tire on, the tire will fall off before the engine overheats

Unfortunately that was the first thing I noticed- but it does have some steel supports welded beneath the pan- I'll bet most of the bad bodywork is due to the hardtop body shifting around once the roof was cut off- sedans get a lot of support from the roof

As bad as the Empi name is now, I would avoid having anything on my VW that says Empi, even if it was cool vintage stuff.

Empi name was the stuff to have back in the day- but today- mostly looks like Taiwanese junk ready for the trash can

Yeah I used soem empi window cranks that I was given for free for about 2 weeks before they came apart. Such quality "billet" products
